Services for Mrs. Ada P. Herron, 94 of Crawfordsville Ind the mother of Lt. Gen. Charles D. Herron, retired who formerly commanded the old 6th corps army area here, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Herron died Tuesday in her home. She was the widow of William P. Herron, a Crawfordsville banker. Surviving besides Gen. Herron who now lives in Washington are three other sons, William P. Jr of River Forest and Frederick L. and Austin R both of Tryon, NC and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Binford of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Will H. Hays of New York City, wife of the former czar of the movie industry.
